A picture speaks more than 1000 words. Look at this snap. It is a new electronic display installed just few days back at Kundanhalli Gate signal, Bangalore. Also look at the tree, whose branches are cut so that the display becomes visible to all.

I am wondering, could not it have been possible to fix that electronic display in front of the tree? After some time, the tree will grow its branches again, and may be again people will cut them.

Bangalore boast itself as Garden City. Here weather is very pleasant. However such incident are against our intention to preserve our planet earth. Yes, here trees were cut so far to widen the road. It is also bad, still little rational. However to cut the tree just for an display is irrational in my opinion. It would have been much better if we could have fix the electronic display at appropriate place.

I am curious to know, about the forum / panel of powerful people, who can stop such thing in Bangalore.

the other unacceptable aspect

Welcome to PRAJA, Manish.

The equally unacceptable aspect regarding these so-called 'variable message boards' is their taking up almost the entire width of the foot-path, forcing the pedestrians onto the carriage-way, quite as seen in the picture.

And, what purpose do these contraptions serve? Well, the general belief is that it's just another racket - check this

Welcome to Praja. And you asked:

I am curious to know, about the forum / panel of powerful people, who can stop such thing in Bangalore.

We are those powerful people, you, me and about everyone other educated aware citizen. We just need to join hands to exert pressure for things we want done. Sounds like a cliche, but that is how it is, and I speak from some experience.
