extend to nelamangala
rackstar - 20 September, 2011 - 05:48
This hosur-ypr train should be extended to nelamangala or tumkur so that it becomes more useful for people. nelamangala/tumkur people can go to chandapura and vice versa without changing train, so they need not wait for train changing nor they have to plan accordingly. Since both the lines are not electrified this same train can go. This will even free up ypr station as it will not be terminating train. This extention demand is similar to exention of bangarpet-sbc train to kengeri/ramnagar which increases usefulness. Longer the train route more is the passenger ridership and usefulness.
Agree with rackstar - Need peak hour trains
Vasanth - 20 September, 2011 - 07:16
Current YH1 timings helps those who come to Bangalore for work from Hosur and not for those who work in EC and stay in Nelamangala / Hebbal. We need another train starting from Tumkur / Nelamangala to Hosur say by leaving Tumkur at 6:30 AM, reaching YPR at 8:00 AM and Hosur at around 9:30 AM.
Sameway SBC - Kuppam Passenger needs to be extended to Channapatna. There is lot of demand for trains starting from Channapatna especially in the morning since there are only two trains. If Kuppam train starts from Channapatna at around 8:00 AM, reach SBC at around 9:30 AM and take its normal schedule, it will be very helpful to commute to whitefield, KR Puram etc.
