If it is split, it should be split into three angular areas (approx 120 degrees each). Each entity MUST CONTAIN some part of the Core area as well, unlike before when core area was different, and areas like Yelahanka, Kengeri, Bannerghatta Road, Whitefield etc were different. E.g.

  1. East must consist of Vasant Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Austin Town, Koramangala, R.T. Nagar as well, apart from other geographically located areas.
  2. West must consist of Malleshwaram, Rajajinagar, Vijayanagar, Majestic/Gandhi Nagar, (parts of) Banashankari as well, apart from other geographically located areas.
  3. South must consist of Jayanagar, J. P. Nagar, (parts of) Banashankari as well, apart from other geographically located areas.
  4. Areas like Yelahanka, Kengeri, Bannerghatta Road etc, will also share either of these entities depending upon the location.
  5. Good coordination should be provided between these entities.
  6. Areas like Rajankunte, Vidyanagar, Electronic City, Chandrapura, Battarahalli, Kumbalgodu etc should also be included in one of BBMPs entities, citing the rapid development of highrise flats, villas and corporate offices in these areas.
