Karnataka is ranked a poor 15th amongst 28 states in complying with RTI Act.

Degree of compliance:

• Government of India (Average) - 53%
• State Governments (Average) - 28%
• Union Territorries (Average) - 19%
• Nagaland - 62%, Bihar - 55%
• KA - Below Average (< 28% I guess, couldn't get a good number)
