No decision has been taken yet for a metro route to airport. As per latest reports, BMRC is keen on the Thannisandra-Bagalur route (past Nagawara) since it saves on distance and since there is pressure to include airport connectivity by metro rail as part of phase-2 itself. |

FInally BMRCL has published the UG route with station details of the new red line coming up between Gotigere and Nagavara. THe line goes UG at Dairy circle and has 12 stations on that stretch. The details are at the link below which was published recently |

Took my first trip in namma metro yesterday from Majestic to Indiranagar. Its 15 minutes journey spot on. Station and tokens were good. Some north Indians trying to cut the que which was expected as they do in Delhi and Gurgaon. |

Metro DPR 2A (SB-KRP) - review srinidhi - 15-NOV-2016
BMRCL has for the first time taken a very positive step by sharing the dpr for the phase 2a which connects Central Silk Board to KR puram (via ORR) on the internet. They have also invited review comments by the general public. We have time till end of this month. |
