First the commercial establishments on CMH Road raised their voices, then on Raj Kumar Road. Most of the residents in Vijayanagar were mute and raised no voice. Avenue Road does not like the idea. There is a proposal for runing Mono Rail in Bangalore by SCOMI-Geodesic consortium which is proposed to be awarded using the swiss-challenge method. As per initial high level information sent to Praja the consortium is proposing to build monorail along the three corridors. |

Though its a right way forward to decongest these areas, the project may get mired with litigations and get delayed. We need services of DMRC chief E. Sreedharan to progress through obstacles. |
