New Mini Bus Terminal at Byappanahalli on Old Madras Road.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has begun inter-State operations at a new mini bus terminal at Baiyappanahalli on Old Madras Road.

According to K A Rajkumar, Director (Operations), the State-run corporation has constructed a small facility near the old NGEFactory, on a trial basis.

“We have commenced bus services from 19 March on a one-way basis (towards Kolar and Tirupati). About 500 odd buses, including Volvo will ply daily through the new terminus from the City towards destinations such as Kolar, Chintamani, Malur, Chittor, Tirupati and Chennai. The new facility also has 12 bus bays” said Rajkumar. KSRTC will shortly finalise introduction of BMTC onnection to this new facility

Poor  publicity  by KSRTC may be due to BBMP election.  Now they should give good advertisment about this.

Ordeal ... I went through

Today evening while returning from Marathalli,  while I was driving along with my friend, a guy on Yamaha takes a left cut in front of me. It was such an extreme cut, I somehow saved the guy and in return screamed and asked to drive properly. The guy and pillion riders stare at me, but I continued on my way.

After a while, they overtake me and ask to stop. I stopped and they started screaming. I started explaining that what he had done was wrong. In no mood to listen, they both start landing blows on me. And they thunder," you come to our area and scream at us, how dare you?". They beat me black and blue and you know what all the people in crowd around were saying, "Yeh , they speak hindi. They cant scream at them. and all started murmuring against us"

Seeing the crowd support for them, I continually said "Sorry" while both were landing blows on me and my friend as well. No one from the crowd even mediated. Some how when they saw blood on my face, they left after hitting me badly in my stomach.

Suffering in Konankunte - will BBMP please listen to us?

We the citizens of konanakunte, srinidhi layout, 1st main, 1st cross. are living in a primitave old civilisation environment. we do not have proper manhole and sanitation, storm water drains and roads. We will be facing a lot of problems once monsoon rains starts.

CRS / Local train for Bangalore Vs State Govt & SWR attitude

This with reference to our Shri K.H. Muniyappa ( Minister of State for Railways  )  blaming State Govt for not starting  Local Trains within Bangalore city.  How is it that he can not speak to CM of Karnataka when CM himself is pursuing so many projects for Rail on cost sharing basis. I am appalled by the state of Bangalore roads of late. Day by day there are more road humps added to the streets without any thought on the inconvenience it causes to the riders/drivers.
