Why restructure?

BBMP has apparently become "unmanagable". Its another matter they are also broke & also a den for the corrupt. Let me start with a statement which can be disproved. BBMP doesnt need to be split it instead needs to give up the "managing" part to the wards.

Why do we have wards?

Should the BBMP be split into 2-3 smaller entities?

Sewage Treatment Plants in BBMP area, where does 800 - 900 MLD of water goes daily in Bangalore ???

800 -  900 LD of water pupmed to Bangalore from Caveri river and transported over 100 Kms along with other water sources of 250 MLD apart from the borewell run with tankers. 

This is apart fro what Bangalore  receives rain all 12 months which no other Big city in India receives.

Caught between BBMP and BWSSB

Please have a look at the above picture. The house is situataed in ward number 193. There is no water connection provided by BWSSB in the area. Hence BWSSB calims this is out of their jurisdiction.

Coming to the issue I'm facing (Mine is the only house on this stretch of the raod)

If BBMP (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) is to be believed, then  about 80 roads in the city will be free of digging for various purposes.  As a part of the process the civic agency has marked 18 roads in three packages under Specifications for Urban Road Execution (SURE) with investment of `200 crore.
