Please do not extend Bangalore's trains to Mysore Tejaswi KR - 18-JAN-2013
A humble request to the railways from me would be to refrain from extending trains of Bangalore to Mysore as the needs of the capital are manifold greater than the heritage city. If need be, new trains can be introduced from Mysore to different places, but let the trains of Bangalore be left alone. |

There are state highways, and national highways, who builds and maintains what is pretty clear. Viability analysis and rate of return on investment is not the top consinderation when state, such as Karnataka decides to upgrade a state highway, or just build a new road to connect a new district.

With the report prepared by RITES, suggesting that Hejjala on Mysore road be developed as a terminal, it is only obvious that in future, it might even house the long distance trains entering and leaving Bangalore.
