What is the reason for abysmal voting pattern in Bangalore which must be rated from 'poor' to 'terrible'. Despite tremendous efforts on creating awareness on 'Need to vote' in both electronic and Print media, voters especially the urban  middle and upper middle class , who complain' maximum 'on any issue ,have stayed away from exercising their right to vote.

I would like to explain my pain and vain in getting the voter ID, yesterday at Madiwala-VFC, its was the last date yesterday for the EPIC, almost 2000 people were waiting in the queue (it was a mad rush), I was one among them, waited for hours together( from 4 pm to 8 PM), I could not get the details from one counter and go to the next counter for the voter ID (clicking my photo), my long stand

You are almost tempted to exclaim, as one 70-year-old gentleman in front of us did, "If this is what I have to undergo to register...and then vote for some rowdy-sheeter who is standing for election to make money, why should I bother? Prajagale one question. My voter id has error. Address is not perfect (wrong pin), and name has spelling mistake. I can go vote with this hale Voter ID (used it last year, without problem)? Or we should go for new Voter Id with mistakes corrected?

For MNC employees, it doesn't get any easier to get their names on voter list. Forms can be filled at their office desks, and submit the filled/signed forms to VoteDeIndia booth that is setup right next to their Cafeterias.
