There are 8 lines and the route for travelling between point A to point B can be searched on the website based on shortest distance or minimum transfers. |

On the seoul's transit official website to travel from point 'A' to point 'B', we can search the route based on minimum transfer or shortest distance which is a very excellent feature. |
Should MG Road area be pedestrianized? tsubba - 9-OCT-2007
A peak into what the some of the authorities think about an issue that we have been discussing here at praja. We have been discussing a hypothetical test case to see how metro would work - say you come to MG road by metro then how do you move around the area then. say to commercial street, magrath road etc etc... So I thought it was exciting that some officials were discussing the same problem and with the same area as a test case.

We now have renders for all the stations on Stretch I, Phase I of Bangalore metro- MG Road, Trinity Circle, Halsoor, CMH Road and Old Madras Road. Only the terminal at Byapanahalli and oh, I forgot the new station KR Puram remain. :)

Now a Majestic-Kanakapura Rd 18 km Mono tsubba - 5-OCT-2007The state cabinet, which met here today, decided to invite brand new tenders for the proposed monorail project in Bangalore. Asian Infrastructure Consortium (AIC), a private company, is in the process of preparing the detailed project report (DPR) for the monorail. Initially, the mono rail will run on a trial basis (18 kilometres) connecting the commercial hub of the city - Majestic to Kanakapura Road on Bangalore's southern tip. Source: Business Standard |

blrsri - 24-SEP-2007There is a talk of metro becoming too difficult to implment as its expensive.. where properties need to be acquired.. I was reading about the elrts cess that was being colleced in the 90's to the early 00'. It comes up to a whooping 700 crores..its with the bmrcl now.. |
