Grade separator projects across 7 arterial corridors

The BBMP’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has approved grade separator projects and road widening across the 12 arterial corridors in Bengaluru. This is part of making these corridors signal-free.

 All the SWDs at Ward no 74 are being covered fully. The entire cross roads are being provided with Road humps. I believe this is happening in all the other BBMP Wards. I have the following points

Friends,

I recently moved to Akshay Nagar, and I am happy to see that the road are getting repaired, filled in with Mud & stones and subsequently tarred.

Couple of days ago we had seen markings in all the building with measurement given in meteres.  We want to know wheter any proposals are there for road widening and what will the future of  buildings there (the road is covered with 6 flats which is over 2-5 years old and all the flats were getting affected worstly).  If there is a proposal for road widening then why the same is getting repaired now?

Could any one clarify this?

Unauthorized Compound Wall Construction on Road & Empty sites

Sir, some people start Constructing the compound wall surrounding the part of layout, it covers 3 street has blocked because of that. This one will be going to arrest whole house of 3 Street all the house about 10 house are blocked due to this.

This is to understand and the criticize the way this whole public tendering and works process works. Not as sexy a topic as Roads, Flyovers or Airports, but this is where it all happens - execution matters most. Most corruption also happens here as this is the place where money changes hands. Citizen involvement (lack of it) plays here - as work must be checked for quality.

ORR bottleneck - Bhadrappa Layout

It is a good move by BDA to make the ORR Bhadrappa layout junction signal free. This junction assumes significance due to the fact that most of Sanjaynagar and RMV layout and gazillion other layouts in between use the Dr Rajagopal road/Gundappa road to reach ORR go towards the airport.
