Myself, Naveen & Sanjeev met with Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Shri Rahman Khan. The meeting was arranged by Shri Maqbool Siraj via Syed. He grasped the concept & subject very well since he has been talking about similar initiatives for a long time. He also understood the need very well and we didn't have to convince him on the concept at all.

After I finished the personal work that I had gone there for, I called up Mr Vivek Mathai of Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), the people who had organised the Bus Day in Kochi on Dec 18th. Between us, we fixed up to meet next morning at 10 AM in their office.

In a memorandum to Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee, Mr. Basavaraj demanded that  .... He sought allocation of more funds to take up electrification of a track between Yeshwanthapur and Tumkur. ... In the memorandum, he sought trains between Tumkur and Bangalore city every hour and between Tiptur and Tumkur.
