As a daily commuter from Whitefield to Bangalore City, I must say that the Passenger trains are a blessing to save precious time spent on jammed roads. What would take no less than 2 hours by road takes half that time by train. However, limited options and un-reliable timings remain a cause for concern. Passenger trains mostly arrive on time until Whitefield railway station. |

Soon, non-agriculturists whose income is less than Rs 25 lakh per annum will be able to buy farmlands in Karnataka, thanks to the government which is planning to amend the Karnataka Land Reforms Act. The Karnataka Land Reforms Act now does not allow non-agriculturists whose income is more than Rs 2 lakh per annum to buy farm land. |
