One can find young women rushing to board buses, however crowded they may be, with the sole intention of reaching their destinations. |

Hi, I was wondering what happened to TTMC's or Bus stations. I stay near K R Puram. I feel there should be a Bus Stand or TTMC in KR Puram so that it can be well connected to various parts of city. For e.g If they introduce a BMTC bus from K R Puram to Whitefield via Bhattarahalli or via Budigere Cross. Half the people would prefer this since this less crowded. |

Dedicated Bus / High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV) Lane around CBD Vasanth - 3-AUG-2013
We see huge number of Buses passing through some of the CBD Area in Bangalore few of the roads. Despite of that, there is no dedicated lanes for BMTC buses and other High Occupancy Vehicles such as office shuttles. This slows down Public Transport Buses and also leads to accidents such as Buses hitting 2 wheeler leading to fatalities. |

Congestion and Traffic Woes - Ramamurthy Nagar Main Road from ITI Gate to ORR. msshankar1961@gmail.com - 11-JUL-2013
Off late the entire stretch of Rama Murthy Nagar Main from ITI gate to ORR is becoming so congested and trafic woes are unbearble.Adding the fuel is by parking of the BMTC Buses without any common sense at the Bus stops. From ITI gate to ORR we need to come behind the Bus only. No way, we can able to overtake the BMTC Buses. |

Hi All, Just to bring classic example how BMTC loots people. Place: Agara junction to SIlk board Distance: 3.3 kms Fare 12 rs (normal bus) Stage: 2 stages As per rule we need to have stage for every 2 kms but here we have 3 stage just to loot people. |

As you may all be aware, the BMTC has biked bus-fares by 16%, with the minimum rate now Rs 6. BMTC has been increasing the fares steeply every few months and the rate has almost doubled in the last 3 years. As a result even bus-travel has become unaffordable for a large number of people and they are forced to either walk or cut down on other essential expenditure. |
