Movie Theaters and allowing minors GNT - 1-MAY-2011
We went to a newly released Hindi movie yesterday in Innovative Multiplex. The posters, the songs (played both on TV and Radio) looked and sounded like an 'adults only' movie. infact, the rating of the movie was 'A'. in the interval we were stunned to see young kids in the movie theater and to our horror were discussing the movie with their parents. |

Is Service tax applicabe for Monthly Maintenance Charges by Apartment Association? girisri - 20-APR-2011
The Maintenance Charges are collected by Apartment Association which is not a profit making body. As per law, does service tax need to be collected from Aprtment members? Is the Service tax appliable to be levied on the maintenance charges? even though the Apartment is maintained by the Association and not by the Builder. |

Hi All, There have been proposals for Hoodi Railway Overbridge that I believe is already approved by the government. But I haven't heard anything on when the actual work will start. Had asked the railway crossing operator for the same and he said it will take few months. |

Bicycle Lanes in Bellandur ward Sivaprasad Valappil - 12-APR-2011
I just joined Praja group and am excited to be part of it! At my area (Bellandur , Sarjapur Outer Ring Road), we have formed a cyclists group and we are planning to request for bicycle lanes on roads. Hi I was wondering if there's a helpline to report an anonymous caller who keeps sending unsolicited SMSs/phone calls to women. This person calls up asking for 'Navin' and if it's a woman, pesters them to talk to him. If they don't pick up the phone, he keeps sending annoying msgs. |

Who is reponsible for transformer maintenance sanjayv - 23-FEB-2011
I live in an apartment community. We have a few transformers. One of the things we realized recently is that our transformers really need some maintenance - oil level, dessicant cartridge, gaskets, oil filteration etc. Then a question was posed - (a) Who owns the transformers - us or BESCOM. Who is responsible for servicing them? |

During previous budget, a train was announced between Bangalore and Nelamangala. Does any one has any idea about this train. Whether a new link is planned for Nelamangala? If new link is planned for Nelamangala, then Railways can plan about connecting the same with Bangalore - Mysore line at Kengeri and the same line can be extended upto Anekal via Bannerughatta. |

New Karnataka govt notification for continuing to avail gas connection Ervamanatil Prashant - 5-FEB-2011
On 27th January, through our neighbours we found out gas dealers are asking for filing of photo-id and electricity bill. Unfortunately I dont have my electricity bill with me now and the next electricity bill would reach us around the 10th or 12th of the month. As per the govt notification, the last date for filing is 10th Feb, 2010. |

Hi, Any idea on what can be done so that the trains departing from and arriving Bangalore stop at Channasandra station? This station is very convinient for people staying in areas like whitefield, marathahalli, brookefield, kasturi nagar, pai layout, banasawadi, etc.
