Bellary Road Big 10

susanth - 13-MAR-2009

Information first, cribs later! I finally managed to decode the mystery named Bellary Road Big 10. This one operates between Shivajinagar bus stand and Yelahanka. The route as I understand right now is:

Why so many buses on the Road?

chetana kolli - 10-MAR-2009

"BMTC the ever progressing Gov org" Has anyone ever wondered why Bangalore city has so many buses plying on the roads?? Does anyone feel that the BMTC authorities actually conduct an analysis before releasing buses to ply on the city roads.

Is 91C bus plying?

kaundinya - 6-MAR-2009

91C supposedly plys from Yeshwantpura regulated market to Girinagar. I do not see the bus at all. And even in btis.in it is not shown. Any idea, if it is really there?

Tried office commute using Big10 - a report

silkboard - 5-MAR-2009

Big10 inside 28.22 am - Wife dropped me at the main road outside our complex, a Big 10 was waiting right then and there. Even better, the driver stopped for me to save me a 50 m walk till the bus stand. Good or bad, I wonder, but I did say thanks to him.

The hardships of changing a bus

Vasanth's Big10/ORR buses comment, and seeing a bus stop near silkboard junction move farther from the flyover prompts me to repeat a point made earlier.

Rail Vajra, anyone?

SB_YPR - 18-FEB-2009

Hi,

After the recent success of the Vayu Vajras, isn't it time for BMTC to look into providing similar services for a larger segment - the rail travellers?

Bus Routes and Fares

rs - 17-FEB-2009

I've recently started using the bus - I must admit it took my car being in the shop for a few days to trigger it - and have found it to be very easy and comfortable. But I'm curious about the fare system. The first couple of times I found a `Suvarna' bus and the fare, from Mathikere to Yelahanka, was Rs. 11. The bus was virtually empty, comfortable and smooth.
