Today morning I saw soil testing of Namma Metro Phase 2 in Bank Colony near Udupi Upahar hotel. Boards had written "namma metro phase 2 soil testing". We didn't hear anywhere officially about the alignment of Phase 2 Namma Metro. Surprised to see this!! |

Development activities like building the metro always brings environmental issues along with them and tree cutting figures very prominently..Authorities take`refuge of quoting selective trimming of the trees and not necessarily bringing them down.. |

The maps for Bengaluru metro North south extension are put in their website. http://www.bmrc.co.in/news.html Lots of people living adjacent to kanakapura road will be losing land. Though its a right way forward to decongest these areas, the project may get mired with litigations and get delayed. We need services of DMRC chief E. Sreedharan to progress through obstacles. |
