The Karnataka government has asked the Ministry of Railways to not only approve a commuter rail system (CRS) for the city, but also be an active partner in Bangalore Suburban Railway Company Ltd.

On the sidelines of 'Cycle Day' on 27th October at Cubbon Park, there will be a 'Meet Up' on Suburban Rail campaign discussing future advocacy steps that we could plan and take up. Please do come to support the Cycle day and in addition can meet the people who are behind the Namma Railu campaign for last 3 years.

Who owns the Binny mill Land? is it a private land? Is it belongs to Central Govt?

You all must be wondering why I am asking this question. In today's news in TOI, it is reported that CM is taking a all party delegation to PM to get the Binny mill Land.

Railway Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge on Saturday urged the State government to hasten acquisition process of Binny Mill land abutting the City Railway Station so that the Railways can make a beginning with the Commuter Rail System (CRS) for Bangalore.
