Today, a small team of Praja members interacted with Traffic Team at BMTC headed by the CTM(O). Following are the minutes of the meeting:

Using Vayu Vajra (BIAS) buses for non-airport commute.

Last week a friend of mine told me that he was using the BIAS buses to commute from Hebbal to Kormangala, I was delighted to know that the BMTC has finally realized the potential and are allowing non-airport bound passengers to use the vayu vajra buses.

Since March 2007, for my daily commute to office I use BMTC vajra (Volvo) Bus service. I travel from Whitefield to Domlur. I have found this service very helpful as I can sit in bus and relax during 40 -60 minutes of my travel.

Signs for Proposed Bus Stops that have sprung around the city

Signboards on poles have sprung up all over the city announcing "Proposed Bus Shelter by TimesOOH".

In most places, these are next to existing bus shelters. There seems to be a connection with the Airport bus service as these signs are often next to the sing announcing the frequency of the BIAS routes, like in the photo (the existing bus shelter was behind me as I took the photo).
