Mr A pulled out BDA's expense report on Abide (remember this event?). He found that BDA spent Rs.21,86,487 for that full day session at IISc. See a similar news reported about BBMP (Biscuits worth Rs 50000). That small event has allegedly been over-accounted. The same can't be said about Abide event, this is pure information for public consumption. |

tsubba - 29-JUN-2008
#1. at yesterday's meet, the media reports that while the CM spoke on finances and the big picture, the heads of various departments spoke of issues at a much finer scale, and the members of various RWA's spoke about many nuts and bolts issues[1]. (Added later: After I have written all that I have written, I observed a curiously familiar position on sakrama, property taxes and egovernance by a name very familiar. I am 99.87% sure that our own Silkboard has found mention in that article. which means he was there. So he will defintely post his field notes. You can ignore this post.) |

What happened to BRTS between Hebbal and Silkboard on outer ring road? Vasanth - 6-JAN-2008BRTS - A more buzzing word nowadays with most of the urban transport planners and educational institutions. IIT professors and Volvo marketing personnels are especially pushing this technology showing the cost benefits and ease of implementation. Bangalore MRTS plan contains a BRTS corridor from Hebbal to Silkboard along outer ring road. But, nothing is heard about that so far such as who is going to implement, is it going to be BOOT/BMTC owned etc. If at all if BRTS is confirmed on this part, then why delay? |
