BMTC has at long last announced commencement of the Trunk & Feeder Services (check here), which was what was envisaged when the Big-10 services were started.

A few days back, I had to go to Electronics city with a friend of mine, I rarely go towards that side (Hosur Road) generally. And that was the first time, we took the Elevated Flyover over the Hosur Road. I thought of an idea/suggestion that if a BMTC mini-bus kind of vehicle can just do a to-and-fro from Start of the Flyover (near SilkBoard) and Electronics-City toll-post.

Few days back new footpath work completed in eCity Phase-2. From XIME to TataBP Solar strech. Here is the photo report. I have no comments posted on this intentionally. Last few pics show how a footpath space is used for "beautification" by a private company. So no footpath laid there :(

BMTC launching Local Loop Services on Bus Day

Good news. BMTC will be launching local loop bus services on February 4, the first Bus Day for Bengaluru. "Whitefield Sarige" will be running loops in Whitefield suburban area covering Marathahalli, Brookfields, ITPL, Hope Farm, Whitefield Market, Varthur Road etc. A similar service will connect various points inside Electronics City.

I was at a BCIC meeting this week wherein Devesh had invited Mr Arvind Jadhav (GoK's principal secretary for infrastructure development) over for a talk. Mr Jadhav mentioned some exciting plans, we should hear them soon in mainstream media.
