As a daily commuter from Whitefield to Bangalore City, I must say that the Passenger trains are a blessing to save precious time spent on jammed roads. What would take no less than 2 hours by road takes half that time by train. However, limited options and un-reliable timings remain a cause for concern. Passenger trains mostly arrive on time until Whitefield railway station.

The sorry state of Carmelaram Station

I want to share a horrible experience I had yesterday at Carmelaram station.  A family member was coming from Kerala on the 12678 Ernakulam-SBC Intercity express.  For me, the best option to pick up a traveler from the point of view of convenience is Carmelaram Station.  The other option is Catonment which is a nightmarish drive into the city and back away.

Autorikshaw Refusals - Share your story!

A day is not passed when we are not encountered with situations wherein 'Autorikshaw Driver' refuses to take us. Sometimes it becomes so unbearable that could make one angry at every auto in the sight.
