Mapping your local bicycle store idontspam - 28-MAR-2014
Some years ago I started an initiative to mapt the bike stores. It saw a few entries but the community wasnt large enough. With pollution & congestion assisting the drive to take up NMT modes like cycling via cycle day event the community has increased by leaps & bounds. Newer & more trips are being made & more cycles are being bought now than before. |

Meet on activities on the first Cycle Day event (27/Oct) Ravi_D - 2-OCT-2013
Some news on activities planned on the first CycleDay event. Following is a quick summary from the meeting held on 1/Oct to discuss potential options: 1. Inauguration by the Mayor - via a ceremonial cycle ride. 2. A heritage cycle ride around Cubbon park area. Critical Mass happens on the same day. Work with them to explore combining the two somehow. |

Tomorrow (Saturday, 21/Sept) few Praja members are riding bicycles to Tattekere. All are welcome to join. This is our second outside-the-city, and first relatively long distance ride. First was the one up the Nandi hill, some 25km up and down.

Bicycle Parking - enabling safety and security of Cycles muralihr - 8-JUL-2011
One of the important things to enable Bicycling is to have Bicycle Parking which is safe and secure . Not having safe parking is a major barrier. Ride a Cycle Foundation feels that atleast important areas like Lalbagh should have bicycle parking facilities. |
