A quaint and strange station : Byappanahalli railway station

Sanjeev - 16-SEP-2011

Wearing a deserted look, the Byappanahalli railway station is in dismal shape boasting of the apathy and disinterest exhibited on the part of the authority concerned. The comfort of using other hi-tech railways stations of the city with facilities like the digital indicators and computerised systems vanishes, as soon as one comes face-to-face with this desolated base.

The Most Horrific Traffic in the Entire World

idontspam - 9-SEP-2011

So how do we fix gridlock? IBM says building more (or wider) roads won't help—not enough space or money. The answer lies in data. Which makes sense, as IBM makes money by processing and selling data. But it does make sense—taking the roads we have already and routing traffic through them more efficiently.

Extend K1 and K3 buses

tellvkb - 8-SEP-2011

Hi,

Can someone take action and suggest this solution to BMTC. EVen after many complaints they are ignorant on this one.

Instead of putting new buses they can just extend K1 and K3 buses from Koramanagala bus stop to HSR CPWD quarters stop.

By just increaseing 3 stops it will benefit 1000s of people plying on these routes.

Customer facing staff of BMTC

Bheema.Upadhyaya - 6-SEP-2011

Observation :Now I am using BMTC services almost daily (Mostly route 378) and getting a feel of the BMTC customer facing staff and their attitudes and langauges. I observed at least 25% conductors use rude language by default. What I mean by default is usage of poor language without any provocation by commuter's behavior or age or gender.
