Thanisandra Railway Station abandoned by SWR.  Requesting Railway Minister to reopen this halt station with reservation counter too.

Chamundi Express where people are forces to stand on both sides to get into the train as SWR is having peak time no trains running between 4:30PM to 6:30PM towards Mysore from Bangalore city station.

I had to travel to Bidadi on Saturday on some official work. I took the train from Kengeri to Bidadi station. The journey took me 15 minutes on the push pull train. I had the following observations:
(1) There were only two stations on the entire 18 kilometre stretch

There has been renewed hope among some circles in Bangalore after the Union Railway Minister Mr. Sadananda Gowda made a mention in the Rail Budget about the much delayed Suburban Rail System. He spoke of a survey when a survey has already been done by RITES.
